The "Cool to be Smart" program is designed to provide incentives to students who challenge themselves as learners by taking AP classes. In so doing, students become eligible for program incentives and make effective, proactive decisions about their educational future and successes.
The "Cool to be Smart" program is sponsored by Mossy Automotive Group. Mossy will donate two new cars as an incentive for all of our SDUSD Advanced Placement (AP) students to take more AP courses and pass their AP exams. Beginning in June 2010, two new cars will be given away to two qualifying district high school seniors who are AP students and meet the “Cool to be Smart” program requirements. Mossy Automotive Group fully understands the value we all place on education and with this significant donation, they are stepping forward to support our efforts to prepare our students for successful futures.
